KIOXIA Launches UHS-II SD memory card Enhanced for 8K Video and Continuous Shooting

Kioxia Singapore Pte Ltd, a worldwide leader in memory solutions, today announced the EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II Memory Card Series, designed for 8K video recording and continuous shooting. This series features two models in the Video Speed Class(1): V90 and V60. The V90 is a model designed for professionals seeking performance in 8K video recording, while the V60 is a more economical model with a good balance between speed and cost for those looking for UHS-II performance.

The all-new EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II Memory Card V90 takes professional photography, filmmaking, and content creation to the next level. Designed for 8K video recording and continuous shooting, these cards provide seamless performance and ample storage space with capacities up to 512GB and reads up to 310MB/s and writes up to 300MB/s(2) for high-end 8K photo or video shoots. With their UHS-II rating, this series enhances workflows with faster file transfers and smoother editing.

The EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II Memory Card V60 offers a well-balanced combination of performance and price with read speeds of up to 300MB/s and write speeds of up to 250MB/s(2). This series delivers suitable performance for wildlife photography, everyday vlogs and video productions, with available capacities from 128GB to 512GB.

The EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II Memory Card V90 and EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II Memory Card V60 will be available in Mar 2026.

  1. A data transfer speed is based on the result measured under the conditions regulated by SD Association. A Video Speed Class V90 SD memory card provides minimum read/write data transfer speeds of 90 MB/s and a V60 SD memory card provides 60 MB/s, when used with a UHS-II device.
  2. 1MB/s is calculated as 1,000,000 bytes/s. These values are the best values obtained in a specific test environment at KIOXIA Corporation and KIOXIA Corporation warrant neither read nor write speeds in individual devices. Read and write speed may vary depending on a device used and file size read or written. The write speed is lower than the read speed. The data transfer speed in UHS-I and legacy SD interface are lower than the speed in UHS-II interface.
  • Capacity is based on installed flash memory and not user available memory as part of the memory is used for management functions. About usable capacity (available user area), please check each product page (1GB is calculated as 1,073,741,824 bytes).
